Content

The lecture "Compiler Construction" is offered in this module regularly in the winter semester:
In this lecture, application-oriented concepts and techniques of programming languages and compiler construction are taught.
Specifically, the phases of compiler construction are first introduced using a Java compiler. The functional programming language Haskell is used as implementation technique. For this purpose, the necessary basics of functional programming are taught, building on the knowledge of the basic lecture.
In the second part of the course, students will implement a mini-Java compiler in group work using the techniques they have learned.
