Content

Introduction to human perception and actuation, user interfaces, planning and execution of user tests, graphical and statistical evaluation of user tests, user-centered design, analysis methods, prototyping, heuristic evaluation, social aspects of technical systems.

Objectives

Competencies: Students are familiar with the fundamentals of human information processing, various interaction interfaces for input and output, and the process and methods of user-centered software development. They can plan, execute and evaluate user tests. They have an overview of the importance of technical systems in society, in particular the use of assistance systems.
